Depending on your location, we process personal information based on: your consent; performance of our contract with you; compliance with legal obligations; our legitimate interests (such as securing, operating, and improving the Services); and protection of vital interests.

Business Transfers. If Klout undergoes a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or asset sale, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or notice of any material changes.

Your information may be stored or processed in countries outside your own. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections consistent with the NDPA and other applicable data protection laws.

We implement industry-standard safeguards including: TLS encryption in transit; encryption at rest for sensitive data; access controls and role-based permissions; security monitoring; audit logging; vulnerability assessments; and multi-factor authentication for internal systems.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

We retain personal information: while your account remains active; as required by financial regulations (including KYC and transaction records retained for the periods prescribed by applicable anti-money laundering and tax laws); for fraud prevention; to resolve disputes; to enforce agreements; and to comply with tax and legal obligations.

When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

You should withdraw any available Wallet balance before requesting deletion.

Klout is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Our Services may contain links to or integrate with third-party platforms, including social media platforms, payment providers, and blockchain networks used for digital asset deposits.
